Zašto je #WomenEatingFood naš omiljeni hešteg

Žene postavljaju fotke sebe kako jedu – iz najboljih mogućih razloga.

Jer ove fotke predstavljaju jedno opšte boljenje brige.

I mi iskreno želimo da se pridružimo tom stanju duha.

Elem, znate onaj osjećaj kada ste napokon sjele ispred malo do umjereno pretrpane porcije hrane nako duuugog dana?

That first bite of my first-ever @publix sub 😍 Swipe right to see the progression, documented so beautifully by @pete3 🤣 When I saw these photos, I thought of something a client said to me after watching @ciaosamin in @saltfatacidheat. She commented on how rare it is in the media to see women just enjoying food, all sorts of food, without any commentary on how “good” or “bad” the food is (or they are, for eating said food), and without any remarks or criticism of their bodies. Just simple, pure enjoyment of delicious food ❤️ I’d love to see more of that – if you have any examples of women in tv, movies or here on IG that share that pure food enjoyment, please share below 🙋🏻‍♀️ (And if you haven’t seen Salt Fat Acid Heat on Netflix, I highly recommend!) #womeneatingfood

I zbilja, nedostaje nam toga, trenutaka čistog zadovoljstva.

You know how the only images we see of women eating in the media are: A. overly-sexualized ladies ‘eating’ burgers B. thin white women flirtatiously laughing over a salad they barely touch C. female protagonists “emotionally eating" after being dumped and D. women pretending to enjoy diet food in diet commercials? We have to change this!! We need to see all types of women UNAPOLOGETICALLY enjoying the pleasure of eating food—no shame, no guilt, no “ew, that’s not ladylike” attached. Enter the #WomenEatingFood movement created by @alissarumseyrd and @lindatuckercoaching. Their goal is to change this, to fill the internet with photos of real women eating and enjoying it. So here I am, makeup free, enjoying the hell out of a breakfast sandwich on my last trip to Seattle. Everyone else in the house we were staying at wasn’t quite ready to eat, but I was like, I GOTTA EAT NOW. Years ago, I would have ignored my hunger as to not appear imperfect? A nuisance? Unladylike? Why has society taught women to be ashamed of their hunger or their own pleasure? I have a few theories, but that’s for another post! Anyway, let’s change the image of women eating together!! Use #WomenEatingFood and tag @alissarumseyrd and @lindatuckercoaching in your posts!

Pasta, ugljeni hidrati, sir, prilozi… birajte.

Prijatno!
